The Recovery Room was started to provide quality and affordable recording to Seattle’s independent music community. Inside you’ll find a small live room and control room, and some very comfortable chairs. You’ll also find Universal Audio and Focusrite preamps, Drawmer compressors, a collection of high-end and vintage microphones to lay your tracks down to 24 bit, 96kHz mac-based digital format.

The Recovery Room is located in the Greenwood district of beautiful Seattle, Washington, within walking distance to the Four Spoons Cafe, and 10 minute drive to the beaches of Puget Sound. Because I’m obsessed with buying audio gear, the equipment list will always get better. Projects include Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam, Tiny Vipers, Arthur and Yu, The A-Frames, Head Like a Kite, Common Market, Dyme Def, Transmissionary Six, Tagging Satellites, The Spits, The Girls, Blue Scholars, Fatal Luciano, Mad Rad, Zera Marvel, The Animals at Night, Band of Horses (Mastering), Nada Surf (post production vinyl), Terri Tarantula, Brent Amaker and the Rodeo, The Walkabouts, the Grizzled Mighty, Fox and the Law, I Will Keep Your Ghost, and a growing number of television audio / post production projects.

The Recovery Room is $400 / day including myself as an engineer. Please contact me if you’d like to book time or take a tour.
